The 11Eleven Project, founded by Danielle Lauren, is a Sydney based organisation passionate about telling the world’s story. They are currently working on a global project where they invite people from around the world to share a day of their lives on 11/11/11 through film, photography and music. They want individuals, communities and networks to be represented in this global story.
The 11Eleven project is unique and offers people from around the world..from different nations, cultures and languages to share their voices to the rest of the world. On the 11th November this year, the world is invited to capture a glimpse of their life through media such as film, music, sound, dance, art..anything that is creative! Participants are asked to register on their website and send their bit of history. The entries received will be collated to make a 2 hour documentary, photographic book and a world music CD. These items will be presented at World Peace Day in 2012.
The project aims to bring people together in peace and freedom through creativity. All proceeds raised through the duration of the project will go to 3 different charities who work to raise awareness of the 8 Millennium Goals.
